First, the built-in email client in AOL Desktop needs IMAP/POP support for other emails. People have multiple emails now and AOL needs to quickly adopt. Also, how about auto hide/show ads while reading emails? Like it will show an ad for a few and then auto hide it to give the reader more reading space. Then when another ad needs to show, it will auto show the ad space again and then auto hide it after a minute or so. Also, give the user the option to hide the current displaying ad, but it will only hide that one and auto show another ad when it loads.

IM in the AOL Desktop needs Facebook and other support (it's somewhat useless without it). I don't even chat with people on AIM any more. IM can create a group for the IM service you connect to. This will bring back the power of IM again.

The web browser still has compatibility issues with sites (Javascript, Flash, etc..). It doesn't read sites like IE either. Also, drop the bottom status bar. Add a button next to "New Tab" called "Options" that will display a dropdown menu with all the options available in the status bar and even title bar. This will free the title bar of options and also remove the status bar giving the user more space to view sites, which is the most important thing.

AOL Desktop graphics have improved, but elements still give you eye sores. PLEASE update the web browser tabs looked. It's so ugly!

Also, I posted this with Mozilla's browser, because the AOL Desktop wouldn't let me with it's browser. Please fix :)
